Description
From 2003: I caricatured my niece, Laura Nix and her friend Jessica Rodden, with the idea of putting them in one of the Powerpuff Girls comic books I drew. Here they are (they were age 10 at the time) on the splash page of issue #39, the story "No Business Like Snow Business." I gave the original board of the page framed to Jessica for her birthday that year, and bless her, she still has it.

2. What was the trick to caricaturing them within that style, and picking the right shapes to hearken to their likenesses (for instance, eyes, arm and hand shapes, hair, etc.)?
